The symbol here included is that which culminates the essential premise behind/surrounding/within The Human Celebration. It is a symbol of Power (true Power fueled by Love), and of the realm of power it formulates the essence of Home. Home is a place for all who come to rest, to have shelter, to have nourishment, and to have nourishment on multiple levels of being. It is to have voice space, to hear and be heard, to honor and be honored, to forgive and be forgiven, to accept and be accepted, to heal and to surrender to one’s own Divine Design, Life expression.
The Home symbol came to me in a vision when I was 20 years old and was imbued into every cell of my body – it is living within me and will have it’s own evolution in this realm of human existence far surpassing my borrowed lifetime (See On Ownership). It appeared on a stone tablet with flames around it and zoomed into my third eye repeatedly. It was an invigorating experience by which I have little to compare. The pressure on my brow was huge, as though my third eye was literally being split open and the seal inserted into my very being. I felt perfect trust and elation during and after the experience. Afterwards, drawing the symbol was like coming my hair – I knew how to do it, but there were a few different ways to do it, and certain ways definitely felt more right than others. When I would look at it, I simply felt a since of deep comfort, nostalgia and home. I would show it to people that could see to further my understanding of it, see if it had a meaning in some recorded language, or simply what others felt when they looked at it. I never really got a clear answer until just recently – nearly ten years later – from my teacher Ventanadasana, and he shared with me exactly what I have shared here. It is a symbol of Power – true Power that is of Love – and within the realm of Power it carries the essence and totality of true Home.
